Deck Integrated Fire-fighting System (DIFF)

Firetec offers a complete Deck Integrated Fire-fighting System (DIFF System) and safety equipment in accordance with the Civil Aviation Authority and related Regulations as an alternative solutions to the fixed monitor system.

A typical DIFFS System consists of a foam skid, release panels and deck integrated pop-up nozzles.

Based on our design, the system is capable to operate in automatic or manual modes. Upon activation, the control valve allows water to flow through a water turbine driven foam proportioner to discharge a correct mixture of foam/water solution (i.e. 1% or 3%) through the piping network and the spray nozzles. The nozzles are installed flush with the deck top surface. When the system is released, the nozzles will be lifted up by the water pressure and make an effective spray distribution of water/foam mixed solutions, providing an effective spray distribution covering the entire deck landing area.
