Our watermist Fire-Fighting System used water as the most effective and reliable extinguishing agent for the protection of accommodation and machinery areas on board of marine and offshore vessels, including local application in accordance with regulations.
The key to our firefighting effectiveness is the generation of very fine water droplets. The extremely small droplet size makes the systems highly effective and uses only small amounts of water. With the system's ability to cool and the localized oxygen displacement, the strong cooling effect serves not only to fight the fire but also to protect persons and equipment against the effect of radiated heat.
Firetec' Watermist Fire-Fighting Systems are 100% environmentally friendly and safe for personnel. For the protection in accommodation, the system can be activated automatically and manually. In the machinery spaces and local areas, the system can be installed with open-ended nozzles with detection system to operate manually for total flooding or local protection of high hazard areas. In addition, we also offer localized protection for the galley ducts and fat fryers.
